This is the Welbike, the foldable mini motorcycle demonstrated by British paratroopers in 1942. It is also the smallest motorcycle used by the British Armed Forces. Designed to be airdropped in a container and assembled quickly behind enemy lines, it was powered by a 98cc engine and saw limited combat action in operations like the Normandy landings.
