Are there any 19" monitors that run 1600x1200 well? I have a Dell P991 w/ Trinitron tube and at 1600x1200x85 there're alternating light and dark bands, light ~1mm wide and dark ½ to a third that.
Most digital documents are written with a vertical layout, even though our monitors are horizontal. This means you cannot view the whole document on screen at once and are forced to keep scrolling.
